Statement: About this photograph: There was a Dahlia flower, now rather aged and withered. The beauty of that flower moved me with its simplicity. The wind moved it softly. I took a break from the sharpness of instantaneus shoot and photographed it with long exposure (1 second) so as to be able to show the fragility in its slight movement. *All of the prints in the series THE ELEMENTS were made by the photographer himself in his laboratory, on Chlorobromide, Silver Gelatin protected by immersion in Selenium.
