Kokopelli Nudes

STATEMENT

Being part Cherokee I am always alive in the surroundings of Native American lands. My heritage is from the eastern United States, but I live in California so I utilize the Indian Reservations of the Western US for some of my work. Kokopelli, a fertility diety, is a well known object of the South Western US. Sometimes represented in shadow, sometimes not. Some of the shadow figures remind me of Kokopelli.
